Introduction

This year, we will celebrate the 5th anniversary of The Great Yonder and the completion of our event village Bedepuszta! It's a special edition of the festival featuring some of the best acts from the last 5 years and exciting new performances. The Great Yonder takes place in a fairytale-like location where artists have the freedom to create the music they desire, and guests can enjoy nature and a sense of space. It offers a holiday-festival experience with a maximum of 200 visitors, featuring readings by inspiring speakers, ecstatic dance and yoga classes, wellness activities, games and other programs, along with good food and quality Hungarian wines and beers

The location

Experience it all at Bedepuszta Village Retreat. This authentic village has undergone renovation, transforming into an holiday retreat for events. Nestled at the end of a dead-end road in a beautiful valley, it offers the opportunity to wander through forests and fields for hours, away from any buildings or people. Due to the intimate scale of the event (with a maximum of 200 guests) and the expansive area, The Great Yonder is a mini retreat-festival with a truly unique atmosphere. No disposable items like dixies or plastic cups—just quality. Bedepuszta is more than an idyllic place; it's also an ecological and cultural project.

Program

Begin your day with the Breakfast Club, followed by the availability of the swimming pool, sauna, and hot tubs. Engage in invigorating yoga sessions and participate in an ecstatic dance program. In the afternoon, revel in a flexible program where musicians create music of their choice in locations they prefer. Additionally, indulge in tastings, enlightening speakers, and engaging workshops. As the evening unfolds, bands take the stage, and the night may culminate in a happy party at the cozy Yonderbar. For the younger attendees, a dedicated swimming pool and numerous children's programs are available. Meanwhile, good food is served in the kitchen where we cook with local products. The Yonderbar offers a selection of excellent Hungarian wines, homemade lemonades, and beers.
